Job Title: School Bus Aide
Compensation: Pays up to $20 per hour
Job Purpose: The bus aide is employed for the purpose of assisting and supervising students on the bus during transportation time. To treat fellow employees, parents and students with respect and to have a pleasant disposition in his/her working habits and to hold the school district in the highest esteem.
Qualifications-Required:
Must possess and maintain CPR certification, or obtain within 60 calendar days of employment.
Experience with disabled students preferred.
Be in good physical and mental health. Capable of lifting, positioning and caring for disabled students.
Be a good character and reputation.
Be able to take direction and supervision.
Be responsible, dependable, self-reliant and display initiative.
Be sensitive to the nature and needs of the disabled and their families.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.
Ability to pass the Criminal History Review
Ability to pass the Sexual Misconduct Child Abuse Disclosure
Qualifications-Desired:
HS Diploma preferred
Experience working in a school district
