Job Opportunity: Job Developer (Full-Time)

Location: Paso Robles, CA
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour (Range is $24.00/hour to $26.00/hour DOE)
Schedule: Days, evenings, weekends – flexibility is a must
Sign-On Bonus: $250

About the Position

As a Job Developer , you will play a key role in helping individuals with disabilities achieve their employment goals. You’ll work one-on-one with clients, help match them to suitable jobs, provide training and on-the-job support, and build relationships with local businesses. You’ll be a part of a supportive team, under the supervision of the Program Coordinator , and work within the Individual Placement Department. We are looking someone motivated to actively support our non-profit's mission, vision and values through community outreach!

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on job training and vocational instruction to clients
• Identify and develop job opportunities by networking with local employers
• Conduct job market research and analyze employment trends
• Maintain strong relationships with employers to ensure ongoing client success
• Place at least two clients in employment per quarter (when referrals are available)
• Coordinate with Job Coaches to meet employer expectations
• Facilitate Job Preparation classes and quarterly job club events
• Participate in community outreach and employment-related events
• Maintain accurate records, evaluations, and documentation

We’re seeking someone who is:

• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable with public interaction
• Familiar with our agency and our mission
• Knows our local community: Atascadero, Templeton, and Paso Robles
• Experienced in working with people with disabilities OR has transferable skills from sales , customer service , or community outreach
• Organized and self-motivated with strong time management skills
• Bilingual (a plus, not required)
• Basic Technology and Computer Skills

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid California Driver’s License & reliable transportation (driving is required)
• Proof of current auto insurance
• Acceptable driving record (as per agency’s insurance policy)
• Ability to pass DOJ/FBI fingerprint background check
