Robotics Engineer - Controls

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Robotics Engineer to develop and implement control systems for advanced robotic applications. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in robotics engineering and control theory, with a strong emphasis on both hardware and software integration to foster innovative robotic solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop control algorithms for robotic systems
  • Implement and test software for robotic applications in C++ and Python
  • Utilize robotic operation systems such as ROS and ROS2 for system integration
  • Conduct modeling and simulation of robotic behaviors and control systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
  • Identify and analyze technical trends to inform strategic decisions
  • Engage in pre-sales and consulting activities to support business development
  • Evaluate system performance through verification and validation processes
  • Lead project management efforts to ensure timely deliverables and milestones.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with control theory and robotic systems design
  • Proficient in C++ and Python programming languages
  • Familiarity with real-time programming and software design patterns
  • Knowledge of mobile robots, robotic arms, and sensor fusion techniques
  • Strong understanding of path-planning and SLAM algorithms
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with developing controls software
