Job Description
- Responsible for debugging robotic solutions, including robotic arms and other in-house solutions
- Must understand the workings of robotics, including both software and hardware
- Familiarity with assembling, testing, and QA of robotic solutions required
- Must be capable of testing robots that go from point A to point B
- Should understand the mechanics of robots, how different parts are connected, and how to operate them using software
- Expected to debug deployed solutions, perform QA, and assist in debugging issues
- Will work closely with engineers in assembly but will not write solutions from scratch
- Must understand the operation of a robotic arm and how to debug potential issues, such as power supply
- Will work with other Robotics Engineers to debug, deploy, assemble, and test robotic systems
- Expected to run debugging scripts
- Required to have excellent debugging and troubleshooting experience on both software and hardware
- Must understand how robots operate
- Will be trained on specific systems but must have experience in debugging robotic or hardware systems
- Ability to assemble robotic components is necessary
- Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS) is required
- Python scripting skills are preferred
- Masters/PhD graduates with hands-on debugging experience will be considered.
