ROAD & BRIDGE MAINTENANCE WORKER – MCPHERSON COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS
McPherson County Public Works is seeking a Full-time Road and Bridge
Maintenance Worker. Minimum age of 18 and valid Kansas Driver’s License, High
School Diploma/GED required. Duties consist of regular maintenance of County
roads and bridges, including the operation of trucks and various road construction
equipment. Previous experience and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
certification are preferred, though CDL will be obtained during initial employment
introductory period. Full County benefits, 6-month wage increase upon
successful evaluation, and annual wage increases apply. A 3% cost of living wage
increase will also be in effect October 2025. Safety sensitive positions participate
in County Drug and Alcohol Program. Beginning wage $19.26 - $21.67 depending
on CDL license and experience. Apply online at or
