ATC Healthcare Services, LLC of Nassau County is seeking compassionate, caring, and dedicated School Nurses to serve the staffing needs of our schools. ATC Nassau County has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Registered School Nurse (RN) in Nassau County, NY. Nassau BOCES has a need for School Nurses located in the Nassau County area. The school nurse (RN) will be responsible for administering medication and appropriate first aid in accordance with established rules and guidelines. School RN will also maintain student health records, medication logs, etc. For the love of children, advance your career with ATC!

School Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:

• Professional, medical treatment of students
• Early detection of physical problems and health evaluations
• Disease prevention
• Promoting programs on health-education and immunization
• Maintaining clinical records
• Coordinating vision, hearing, and orthopedic screening and health assessments
• Providing emergency aid to students
• Assisting teachers in instructing students in health and nutrition education
• Aiding in student transport

School Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

• Active NY State Board Certified Registered Nurse Licensure
• Resume submissions and in-person interviews are required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A desire to work with children.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• A Great Team Player
