• Shift: 12Hour Days and Nights (Rotating Weekends)
• Days Per Week: 3
• Total Hours Per Week: 36
• Shift Start Time: 07:00 AM or 07:00 PM
• Shift End Time: 07:00 PM or 07:00 AM

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Surgical Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. In this role you will provide comprehensive care to ill injured and recovering adults within a patientcentered care model. You will work autonomously in making clinical assessments and managing treatment plans while collaborating with a supportive team to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patients health or situation.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis or issues.
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and situation.
• Act as an advocate for patient safety.
• Ensure effective care and use of time supplies and equipment.
• Educate patients regarding their medications procedures and treatments providing support to patients and their families throughout their stay.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience; acute care experience is strongly preferred though LTAC experience will be considered.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida or the ability to obtain licensure prior to start.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred; required within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
