Job Title:Research Assistant 2Department:Medicine | IM HematologyResearch Assistant in the Multiple Myeloma Research Laboratory performs independent standard cell biology laboratory techniques including mammalian cell culture, DNA, RNA and protein extraction, etc
*Duties Include:*
* Prepares solutions and reagents
* Executes designated experiments
* Translates and interprets data to communicate experimental results to Principal Investigator
* Assists in judging the validity of data
* Maintains accurate and detailed notes
* Writes research progress reports
* Maintains quality lab environment including cleanup and organization
* Perform other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
* 2-3 years of relevant experience strongly preferred.
