Remote Database Administrator job at NSS Remote, US

Job Description

Currently seeking a Database Administrator for long term work supporting the Navy Customer. This is a 100% remote position with occasional client site visits to the Navy Yard in Washington, DC.
Local candidates only.

Clearance: US Citizenship REQUIRED + ACTIVE SECRET Clearance.

Position Overview:
This position will be directly supporting the Naval Vessel Registrar (contains information on ships and service craft that comprise the official inventory of the US Navy from the time of vessel authorization through its life cycle to disposal).

Configure, manage and maintain database servers and processes
Monitor system's health and performance
Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security
Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
Assist in root cause analysis and troubleshooting
Work alongside team to develop process improvements.
Review hierarchy and create ways to increase uptime prevent program downtime.
Create SOP’s and documentation for work completed.

Requirements:

US Citizen + Active Level Secret Security Clearance REQUIRED.
Completed Bachelors Degree
At least 3 years of relative experience working as a DBA
