About the position:

We are looking for a Back End Developer who will be responsible for creating, maintaining, testing, and debugging the entire back end. This includes the core application logic, databases, data and application integration, API, and other processes taking place behind the scenes. This person will regularly communicate with stakeholders, product team members, and other developers regarding progress on the long-term technology roadmap.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain workflows with teams to provide visibility and ensure workload balance for consistent visual designs.
• Develop and oversee testing schedules in a client-server environment, addressing all browsers and devices to ensure various devices display the desired content.
• Produce quality code, raising the bar for the whole team on quality and speed.
• Recommend system solutions by comparing the advantages and disadvantages.
• Write code and tests, build prototypes, solve issues, profile, and analyze bottlenecks.
• Manage and optimize scalable distributed systems on the cloud.
• Manage and optimize scalable database systems on the cloud.
• Optimization of web applications for performance and scalability.
• Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met and allow for regression testing. 
• Build a roadmap - identify goals and themes for development and solve the most important challenges to legitimize the product concept. 
• Collect feedback to continue expansion and enhancements, keep growing the product roadmap, and set new strategic goals for the product. 
• Assess competitor products and identify the key requirements for product or upgrades.
• Suggest changes to current product lines to improve business processes.

Skills :

• Computer science degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent foundation in computer science and algorithms.
• Experience writing highly secure web applications.
• Experience with core GCP/AWS web-enabling technologies.
• Growth mindset, ability to find new solutions and out-of-the-box ideas.
• The ability to work between 9 and 5 pm ET or at least 50% shift overlap.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Great project management skills.
• Python and Django are a must.
• Postgres DB Knowledge is required.
• Experience with Google Cloud or AWS is needed. 
• Experience with JavaScript, Devops, Google Cloud Platform, Git, and Large Data Storage is helpful to succeeding quickly in this role.
• The ability to work between 9am and 5 pm EST or at least 50% shift overlap.

What are the steps I need to take in order to get hired?

1. Click the 'Apply to Position' button and complete the application form.
2. After you submit all necessary information, you will receive an invite to record video interview. You will be asked a few questions to help us get to know you better. 
3. Hiring team reviews applications and selects the best-fitting candidates for interview.
4. If you pass all stages, the offer will be made and you will be asked to complete paperwork
5. Once the paperwork is complete, we will verify the validity of your identity, signature, and the information you have provided. If everything looks good, you are officially hired, and the probation period starts.
6. The probation period is paid.

How do I get paid?

• We pay via Payoneer once a month. Payoneer is a financial services company (similar to PayPal) that provides online money transfer, and digital payment services. It connects to your bank account for easy and fast transactions. Please note, Payoneer is not part of eCore Services, and all fees collected by Payoneer are solely determined by them. 

I submitted my application but haven't received a response. What should I do?

• We review applications on a first-come-first-serve basis. We try to be efficient and respond in timely manner, but if we have high-influx of applicants, response may be delayed. Nevertheless, your application will be reviewed and you will be notified of the decision. If you don't receive a decision within 2 months, feel free to reach out and ask for an update.
