Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room Circulator

Location : Norman, Oklahoma

Shift : 12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)

Weekend Requirements : 1 full weekend of call per month

On Call Requirements : 5-7 days per month

Salary Range : $27.84 - $45.46/hour (based on education and experience)

Differentials : Shift and Weekend Differentials available

Job Description :

As a Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room Circulator, you will be part of a team that demonstrates professionalism, teamwork, autonomy, and critical thinking skills. In this role, you will provide individualized peri-operative care utilizing the nursing process. You will be responsible for directing surgery department staff in the care of surgical patients and ensuring safety and quality care for patients ranging from infants to geriatrics. The HealthPlex OR focuses on orthopedic and general surgery, offering a dynamic and challenging work environment.

The position includes a 16-week orientation with a dedicated preceptor, allowing new nurses to become proficient in circulating cases across all service lines. This role is an excellent opportunity for RNs looking to advance their surgical nursing career.

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with other health professionals and perform assessments
• Analyze assessment data, establish goals, and plan care strategy
• Implement care and safely delegate tasks
• Provide safe direct and indirect nursing care
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions
• Direct and oversee the care provided by surgery department staff
• Provide peri-operative care for patients of all ages
