Job Description
My client recently opened a position for a Registered Dental Assistant. As a dental assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the dentist during patient procedures and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare treatment rooms for patients, including sterilization of equipment and instruments
* Assist the dentist during patient procedures, including taking X-rays and impressions, and handing instruments
* Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
* Maintain accurate patient records and charting
* Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
* Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients and team members
* Follow all safety and infection control protocols
Requirements:
* Certificate or diploma from an accredited dental assisting program
* Experience working as a dental assistant
* Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
* Proficient in taking digital X-rays and impressions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
* Must be reliable and able to work well in a team environment
