Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).

One of our clients is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide service in the Methuen, MA area.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Implement Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Under the supervision of a BCBA clinician, the RBT is responsible for working 1:1 with children and implementing specific treatment plans. designed to address the child's needs for behavioral management, daily living, and social, and community skills.
• Provide 1:1 intervention in both home setting and clinic setting with children and adolescents with severe emotional challenges.
• Provide behavioral intervention and crisis management for children and adolescents with mental health diagnoses.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to provide input and feedback that contributes to the development of a child's treatment plan.
• Monitor the child's behaviors by documenting and redirecting challenging behaviors.

Required Experience and Education

• Minimum of an HS Diploma or GED.
• Must possess current RBT Certification through the BACB.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• It is an essential function to be able to meet the rigorous demands of the job, which may include long periods of standing, sitting, following, pushing/pulling equipment, and/or lifting.
• Candidates must possess the ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time on their feet as well as an ability to lift items up to 50 lbs on occasion.
