JOB SUMMARY: Join our team as a Recruiter at Furniture Mart USA in the Twin Cities region! Are you an experienced, energetic, and enthusiastic individual ready to make a difference? Join our dynamic Human Resources team and help us grow! As a Recruiter, you'll oversee recruiting and placement activities for our expanding company, covering a territory in Minnesota. This hands-on role requires a strong sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail to fill open positions in our many beautiful furniture stores and develop talent pipelines for future staffing needs.

- Dynamic Responsibilities : Identify, recruit, interview, assess, and maintain a continual pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Collaborative Environment : Partner with hiring managers to understand business and recruitment needs.
- Innovative Sourcing : Develop and implement sourcing strategies for needed positions.
- Visibility and Influence **: Manage postings on our company website, job boards, social media, and government sites, as well as internal postings.
- Trendsetter : Follow social media trends to build talent networks and develop opportunities.
- Community Engagement : Develop and maintain professional relationships with college, university, and community college placement offices.
- Event Representation : Schedule, coordinate, and represent the company at various career fairs, campus events, community outreach, and recruiting activities.
- Candidate Experience : Manage candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive experience.
- Reporting and Compliance : Prepare reports documenting recruitment activity and effectiveness, process background checks, and monitor drug test results.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and 2 years related experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to travel to other locations, job events, etc. Current driver’s license with acceptable driving record (per insurer’s standards)
- Excellent written communication skills to prepare job postings, employment advertisements, correspondence, and reports
- Knowledge of sourcing and mining techniques within the recruiting space
- Technology proficiency including e-recruitment solution software, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and intranet and internet capabilities
WHAT DO WE OFFER?- $ Competitive Wages $ Earn a generous base salary that reflects your skills and experience, with the added benefit of commission to reward your hard work and provide residual income. Realistic earning potential for a first year Recruiter is $60,000- $80,000.
