About the Role:
As a CBRE Technical Hourly employee, you will work as a Real Estate Utility Analyst
This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, which is responsible for providing support for building mechanical systems.
What You'll Do:
Provide excellent customer service and problem resolution for client, vendors and internal partners.
Manage timely, accurate payment of utility invoices globally.
Prepare accurate worldwide utilities' forecast (electricity, gas, water, garbage, etc).
Prepare accruals for worldwide utilities.
Reconciliation and review of utility provider statements to identify and correct any payment issues.
Work with service providers to resolve billing issues.
Prepares and distributes periodic and ad hoc reports with accuracy and efficiency
Assist with data compilation for client decisions
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Work with standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
What You'll Need:
BA or BS in Accounting or Finance with up to 3 years of experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Skilled in financial systems, reporting and tools - Tableau, SAP, intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Ability to solve problems and effectively prioritize one's workload.
Ability to complete multiple tasks and adapt to a global, dynamic environment
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams
Detail oriented with strong analytical and solution-oriented skills
Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
Familiarity with other Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Outlook, etc.
Organizational skills with an inquisitive approach.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Work experience in real estate or property accountant or accounts payable experience in real estate industry would be preferred.
