Guide learning. Champion reading. Apply today. What You Will Be Doing - Create and facilitate dynamic, differentiated phonics-based reading workshops for small groups of gifted K-2 learners
- Employ storytelling and interactive techniques to accelerate learning 5-10x faster than conventional standards
- Monitor student development and adjust workshop content in real-time based on each cohort's evolving needs
- Provide individualized and small-group coaching that produces measurable advancement in adaptive reading and writing applications
Basic Requirements Reading Specialist key responsibilities - Willing to work on-site at GT.School in Georgetown, TX (relocation assistance available)
- Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in structured literacy (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years delivering small-group reading interventions to K-2 students
- Experience supporting gifted or high-performing children within specialized programs
- Comfortable using AI/adaptive learning tools and analyzing student performance data
- Strong instructional presence with the ability to captivate young learners through voice, storytelling, and enthusiasm
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship
