Senior Helpers of Stafford is looking to add a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to their growing team. Areas of Coverage: Stafford, Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and surrounding areas Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in VA
• Minimum of one year in an office managerial setting, one year of supervisory experience a plus
• Minimum one year of training in direct health care
• CPR Certification
• Current TB Test
• Must maintain CEU requirements as required by the Board of Nursing
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• All employees are thoroughly screened and must meet our employment guidelines. We perform a criminal background investigation, reference checks, and DMV record check

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Travel to clients' homes, complete nursing assessment, and complete care plan for personal care
• Evaluate clients on a regular basis and/or as necessary to ensure client needs are consistent with the care plan
• Utilize professional assessment skills to identify physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of client and be able to develop a care plan to meet these needs in a multi-disciplinary approach
• Function as a resource and mentor to peers and subordinates to maintain professional nursing standards
• Act on client’s behalf to assure patient rights
• Train caregivers on skills assessments
• Coach all staff in proper safety procedures and consistently reinforce procedures
