Job Title: Project Manager / Scrum Master

Location: Atlanta, GA - Only local candidates (Onsite from Day 1)

Job Description:

• Project Manager / Scrum Master
• Seeking an experienced Project Manager / Scrum Master with significant experience of leading and managing a large team on complex software development transformation projects or programs. Day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following
• Proactively lead the team to successfully develop, test, and implement solutions fostering best practice approaches and providing coaching as required
• Managing stakeholder expectations across Business and IT, ensuring that relevant information is provided to keep all parties informed
• Lead and facilitated meetings and workshops with BU and IT teams, including Requirements workshops, Design Meetings, and Scrum Ceremonies
• Work with the Product Manager and other team leads to ensure that requirements are clearly defined and prioritized in the backlog including estimates and dependencies
• Provide support as required to Product and Project Managers as required to ensure that deliverables are clearly defined, understood, and successfully executed by the project team
• Lead change management activities ensuring a smooth transition to the new system
• Facilitate discussions with team members as required ensuring that roadblocks/impediments are followed through to resolution
• Coordinate scrum team and facilitate ceremonies ensuring adherence to agreed standards and procedures
• Recommend tools, standards, and metrics for reporting, and provide updates and necessary information for status reports
• Update and maintain project documents including project plan, Comms plan, RAID Log, etc.
• Provide support on other project activities as required e.g. recruitment, onboarding, time log, invoicing, etc.
• Manage team-level risks and issues effectively and escalate promptly as required
• Any other responsibilities required in the role

Must Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science or related subject
• Minimum 10 years experience in successfully delivering projects using waterfall and agile frameworks in related industry
• Sound knowledge of software development lifecycle and methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
• Experience in managing changes in the Production environment
• Leading and managing cross-functional teams proactively
• Knowledge of IT tools and techniques
• Certifications PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe
• Technical background (bonus)
