As part of the private equity operations team, you will support our private equity leaders, working for RSM, THE First Choice Advisor to the Middle Market. In this role you will use many skills, including project management, business analysis, and process improvement to support a variety of strategic consulting projects. Examples of projects include strategy development, IT and business operational process improvement, data analysis, and PE (Private Equity) reporting. You will be accountable for supporting project managers and executive leadership for planning, management, and execution of all aspects of the project lifecycle. Your role is to support project progression to meet the desired goals and wear the many hats that may be needed to accomplish this!
Locations considered include: Remote, Tampa, Atlanta, Chicago, Cedar Rapids, New York Responsibilities: - Support project leads in driving complex, multi-work stream programs and projects for our private equity channel
- Support definition of project scope and objectives, manage budget, schedule, resources, and deliverables that support business goals
- Document project risks and issues logs and follow-ups on corrective actions to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget and scope
- Support development and execution of project plans. Revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Identify and execute appropriate communication methods to meet stakeholder and leadership needs on the accurate status of a project
- Create and maintain project documentation
- Collaborate with other business areas to continually make progress on project activities
- Aid change management planning and support the rollout of new projects and programs
- Collaborate to analyze, develop and document improvement opportunities; this may include implementation and training components
- Complete assigned tasks and projects effectively and efficiently while maintaining a high level of proficiency
- Interacts with executive leadership regularly with support from Ops leadership as needed
- May lead small scale projects individually with oversight
Minimum Qualifications: Education: - Bachelor’s degree in business or technology related area or equivalent experience
Experience: - 1 - 3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Previous project management experience preferred
- Previous experience delivering Consulting Services preferred
- Previous experience working in a large organization, professional services firm, or CPA firm preferred
- Experience with the following highly desirable: ERP, CRM, financial reporting, portal, accounting systems
Technical/Soft Skills: - Microsoft Office skills (SharePoint, Excel, OneNote)
- Previous experience using Smartsheet or similar tool
- Experience supporting projects and programs
- Working knowledge of Private Equity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to create effective documents and review them with key project stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization
- Experience with the following highly desirable: ERP, CRM, financial reporting, portal, accounting systems
- Experience supporting multiple projects concurrently preferred
- Ability to support, affect, and implement change
- Effective organization and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail

Compensation Range: $55,400 - $91,900
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
