PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Principal Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise hourly employees
• Ensure motivation and safety of team members under supervision
• Prepare pre-operational paperwork
• Ensure proper staffing to meet operational needs
• Coach and develop employees to achieve results
• Meet volume goals, reduce claims, maximize yields, control costs, and maintain employee retention
• Maintain effective relationships with Union, USDA, and maintenance employees
• Manage job changes/rotations
• Harvest and Fabrication Supervisor Positions Available
• Maintenance Supervisor positions available

Qualifications:

• English communication skills required
• Bilingual capability preferred but not required
• 1-2 years proven processing supervisory experience, preferably in manufacturing/production
• Ability to work 50+ hours
• Strong people management skills

Working Conditions:

• Cold temperature environment
• Exposure to knives, hot water, and production machinery
• Physical demands include extensive walking and stair climbing
• Slick floors and loud noise environment
• 50-55 hour workweek Monday-Friday, occasional Saturday work as needed
