Accent Wire Tie is actively seeking a  Production Scheduler to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Rural Hall, NC. 

As a Production Scheduler, you'll play a crucial role in coordinating and planning production activities. Working closely with production teams, management, and suppliers, you'll ensure that production schedules are efficiently executed to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive, hands-on approach to scheduling, with strong leadership skills and a focus on customer satisfaction. Additionally, they'll drive continuous improvement, foster collaboration, and adapt to changing business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter Production information into manufacturing system
• Compare open orders to inventory
• Schedule finished good production based on open orders and inventory goals
• Schedule WIP production to support production schedule
• Regularly review inventory levels
• Track production metrics by individual and machine, daily, weekly, monthly etc
• Assist supervisors in production reporting
• Track and manage scrap rates
• Track and manage use of consumable parts for machines / equipment
• Manage returns process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in production scheduling or planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in using scheduling software and ERP systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required
• Bilingual English / Spanish a plus
