Family Industries is a leading promotional merchandise company dedicated to delivering high-quality products. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to oversee and assist with our production processes.

Job Description:
The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of the production process, ensuring efficient operations, optimal quality, and timely delivery of projects. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of screen printing equipment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Facilitate communication between production teams regarding status, scheduling, and problem-solving.
    • Coordinate with the art team to ensure design accuracy and optimal print results.
    • Work closely with the screen room technician to maintain workflow and resolve technical issues.
  • Production Oversight:
    • Monitor on-press printing processes to identify and implement solutions for any issues.
    • Ensure high-quality prints while minimizing damaged units.
    • Maintain production schedules to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Equipment Management:
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of screen printing equipment, including ROQ automatic print presses, heat presses, Spyder DTS systems, and reclaiming systems.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to maintain continuous production.
    • Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs for all production equipment.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, train, and mentor production staff to enhance skills and productivity.
    • Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Quality Control:
    • Implement quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of print quality.
    • Conduct regular inspections of printed products to ensure they meet client specifications and company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a production management role within the screen printing industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of screen printing processes and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
