Job Overview

As a Product Manager, you'll be responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to create products that deliver value to customers and align with business objectives. Qualifications & Skills

Educational Background:

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.

Experience:

Junior-Level Candidates: 1-3 years of experience in product management, project management, business analysis, or a similar role.
Senior-Level Candidates: 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful software products.

Technical Understanding:

Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and translate technical concepts into actionable business requirements.

Market & Customer Insights:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret market trends, customer feedback, and competitive data.
Experience with tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms for product planning and backlog management.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting ideas clearly.
A problem-solving mindset, focused on delivering customer-centric solutions.
Flexibility and a growth-oriented attitude in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in SaaS, B2B software, or consumer technology products.
Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles and data-driven product design.
Proficiency with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Tableau.
Product Management certifications (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM) are a bonus.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision:

Develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to all stakeholders.
Ensure product goals align with broader organizational objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure high-quality product delivery on time and within budget.
Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the product lifecycle.

Customer-Centric Development:

Conduct market research and gather customer insights to identify pain points and opportunities.
Prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business needs, and technical feasibility.

Product Execution:

Manage the product backlog, write detailed user stories, and define clear acceptance criteria.
Oversee development processes to ensure sprints are organized and deliverables meet quality standards.

Performance Tracking:

Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product success.
Analyze product performance data and apply insights to inform future decisions.
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Candidates:
Mentor junior product managers and contribute to the development of best practices within the product team.
Lead strategic initiatives, such as exploring new market opportunities or managing complex, high-impact projects.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key external partners, including customers, vendors, and industry stakeholders.
