Job Title: Product Engineering Manager
Location: HYBRID- Brooklyn, NY
Salary: $130k - $150K DOE + BONUS + BENEFITS

Due to our growth and drive to innovate, we are looking to add a Product Engineering Manager to our manufacturing team.

Position Overview

The Product Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, manufacturing, and launch of new products. This role requires a strong background in product engineering, manufacturing processes, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will also have experience in CPG industries and familiarity with product launches and validation procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of product engineers to develop and launch new products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet quality and cGMP standards
• Oversee development and execution of NPI (new product introduction) processes
• Manage commissioning and FAT/SAT (factory acceptance testing/site acceptance testing) of new equipment
• Ensure compliance with validation procedures (IQ/OQ/PQ) for new product launches
• Implement lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency, reduce costs
• Collaborate with production/operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues with capacity and volume
• Create and maintain detailed product specifications and bill of materials
• Provide technical support for the production team during product launches. Design and/or participate in budget requirements for new capital equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing engineering or related field
• 4+ years experience in product engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in CPG or consumer products industries is a plus
• Strong knowledge of GMP guidelines and quality standards
• Experience with commissioning, FAT/SAT, validation procedures
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software programs
