Job Description

Description - Negotiate and replenish products (Meat, Produce, Seafood or Grocery) at competitive market prices, while ensuring accurate delivery - Assist in establishing pricing guidelines and maintaining sales plus gross profit expectations - Generate reports and perform analysis on product selection, sales, pricing, market reports, forecast for promotion and other related data as required - Purchase produce, fruit vegetables, perishables - Handle items with an expiration date - Initiates quote process with suppliers, evaluates supplier bids and participates in price negotiations - Maintains purchase order updating delivery dates, prices or other required supplier information - Maintains procurement records such as items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories - Executes purchase order cancellations and resolves invoice discrepancies - Places orders for submitted purchase requisitions - Review orders for accuracy, pricing, and delivery - Prepares reports, plans, and updates metrics as required QUALIFICATIONS - High School diploma required - Minimum of 4+ years of procurement/purchasing experience - Food and beverage experience (required) - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (vlookups/pivot tables experience highly preferred) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
