Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Procurement Specialist in the government industry, located in Stockton, California. In this role, you will be responsible for the procurement and expediting of materials, supplies, services, and equipment for various departments. Responsibilities: - Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications - Maintain precise records of customer credit - Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally - Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions - Review requisitions to verify accuracy and determine necessary materials or services - Obtain price quotes, prepare bid documents, analyze proposals, and recommend awards - Evaluate supplier performance, resolve purchasing issues, and maintain precise procurement records - Coordinate vehicle licensing activities and assist with surplus equipment disposal - Monitor procurement trends and recommend process improvements - Utilize proficiency with procurement software and office practices to optimize operations Requirements - Solid proficiency in 3M, demonstrating excellent understanding of its application in procurement processes - Familiarity with Coupa, showcasing the ability to effectively manage and track purchasing activities - Proficient in CRM, demonstrating the capacity to maintain and manage customer relationships effectively - Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, demonstrating the ability to manage and integrate the key business processes - Proficient in ERP Solutions, showcasing the ability to effectively manage and integrate the main business processes - Familiarity with About Time, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage project time and resources - Understanding of Budget Processes, showcasing the ability to plan, organize, and manage resources effectively - Knowledge of Buying Processes, demonstrating the ability to select and purchase appropriate goods or services - Strong Customer Service skills, showcasing the ability to interact effectively with customers and clients - Experience with Invoice, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage billing and payment processes Please contact Robert Half at 209.225.2014 for immediate consideration.
