PRN - Staff Pharmacist Job Description

*Weekends: Saturday 7:00AM - 3:30PM & Sunday 11:00AM - 5:00PM. Additional hours also available during the week.

Duties will include:

• Provide pharmaceutical care to patients, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling patients regarding health care and prescription medication needs, maintaining confidential information, maintaining controlled medication and required documentation.
• Interact with physicians and utilize reference material to gain information on customers and prescriptions and to resolve any issues that arise.

Required Skills: Technical

• Ability to work out of 2 or more systems simultaneously
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year as a pharmacist
• PharmD/ RPh degree
• Active pharmacy license in Kentucky and Ohio with all held licenses in good standing
• This is an on-site position
