Company Summary: A middle market Private Equity firm located in Miami is looking to add a Private Equity Associate to their team! As a Private Equity Associate, you will be a vital member of the investment team, actively contributing throughout the investment life cycle. From identifying potential opportunities to supporting portfolio management and crafting exit strategies, your analytical prowess and strategic insights will drive our investment success. Key Responsibilities: ~ Deal Sourcing: Collaborate in sourcing and evaluating prospective investment opportunities across targeted sectors. ~ Due Diligence: Conduct thorough financial, operational, and market due diligence, utilizing advanced financial modeling techniques. ~ Financial Analysis: Develop and maintain detailed financial models to assess investment viability, including valuation and scenario analysis. ~ Investment Decision Support: Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for the investment committee. ~ Portfolio Management: Partner closely with portfolio company management to implement growth initiatives and operational improvements. ~ Market Insights: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market dynamics relevant to our sectors of interest. ~ Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with industry professionals, advisors, and stakeholders to enhance deal flow and collaboration opportunities. Qualifications: ~ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. ~2 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or a related field. ~ Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and quantitative analysis. ~ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively. ~ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. ~ Passion for and understanding of business services, healthcare services, consumer, and industrial services sectors. ~ Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong work ethic.
