Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Private Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and a proven track record in creating exceptional dining experiences with Fresh, Organic, Local products. This role involves preparing meals for our discerning clients, ensuring the highest standards of taste, presentation, and service for 2-20 people Twice a day.

Salary: $120K - $150K + Benefits + Relocation + Housing

Key Responsibilities:

• Menu Planning and Development: Create customized menus tailored to client preferences, dietary restrictions, and specific event requirements.
• Meal Preparation and Cooking: Prepare high-quality meals using fresh, seasonal & local ingredients, ensuring a balance of flavors and nutritional value.
• Kitchen Management: Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
• Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their culinary needs and preferences. Provide recommendations and adjustments as necessary.
• Event Catering: Plan and execute catering for private events, including intimate dinners, parties, and special occasions. Manage all aspects of food service, from preparation to presentation.
• Inventory Control: Monitor kitchen supplies and equipment, ensuring timely procurement of ingredients and materials required for meal preparation in a sustainable manner.
• Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest culinary trends and techniques. Participate in relevant training and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role within high-end hospitality settings. Proven expertise in various cuisines and cooking techniques.
• Education: Culinary degree or equivalent professional training from a recognized institution.
• Skills: Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on fresh, organic and clean cooking processes.
• Personality: Professional demeanor with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
