Job Description

Axion Spine & Neurosurgery is a medical practice in Atlanta specializing in minimally-invasive and non-surgical spine care. Our elite team of professionals are dedicated to providing best-in-class services. We are looking for a Registered Nurse, passionate about providing exceptional care for patients, and committed to helping us grow our new location in College Park. This is a PRN position and the person in this role would be required to work Thursdays from approximately 7a - 4p in an outpatient setting.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Pre-op admittance on the day of procedure. 
• Draw labs as needed.
• PACU patient care and discharge education. 
• Responsible for all aspects of patient care.
• Ability to start an IV.
• Identify patient needs based on professional knowledge and medical plan of care.
• Coordinate care to maximize desirable outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Assist during emergency procedures and medical intervention.
• Follow all facility policies and procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Serve as a representative and a clinical role model in all interactions with patients, family, visitors, physicians, and other staff members.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Georgia RN License
• ACLS 
• Minimum of 1 year Pre-op, PACU and/or OR experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership skills and willingness to work independently as the only RN on site.
