We bridge policy, research, and innovation to address global challenges at their intersection governance, climate, and technology.

Position Overview

TerraEquity is seeking a U.S.-based Political Analyst to support our global policy research, governance work, and strategic advocacy initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, deep interest in global affairs, and a passion for equity-driven development.

This role will support U.S.–global policy engagement, international partnerships, and cross-border program insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor U.S., African, and global political and policy developments relevant to TerraEquity's mission.
  • Conduct research and produce policy briefs, analyses, and strategic insights.
  • Support high-level engagement with U.S. institutions, think tanks, multilateral bodies, and international partners.
  • Draft reports, briefings, and communication materials for internal and public use.
  • Provide political intelligence to guide program decisions, advocacy strategies, and organizational priorities.
  • Contribute to global policy dialogues, events, and multi-stakeholder platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, African Studies, or related field.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and research capabilities.
  • Familiarity with U.S. foreign policy, African political systems, and global governance structures.
  • Experience working with government and multilateral institutions.
  • Ability to work remotely, collaborate across time zones, and manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
