Physician Assistant General Surgery / Trauma Northwestern Ohio

Hospital-employed permanent Physician Assistant may apply; 3+ years of experience preferred
Competitive base salary aligned with MGMA median
Minimum of 40 hours per week, primarily day shift hours (may vary based on departmental needs)
Responsibilities include clinic, operating room (OR), and inpatient care
Must be able to perform first-assist duties in the OR
Rotate onsite coverage with other PAs to provide 24/7 coverage for trauma and emergency general surgery
Respond to all trauma activations as the first responding provider to begin work-up and evaluation
Conduct consults for general surgery and coordinate with the on-call physician
Complete admissions and round for the service
Provide outpatient services on a rotating basis
Weekend rotation is 1 in 4
