We are looking for an Associate Personal Banker to join a passionate team in our National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. In this role, you will be part of a supportive, inclusive, and community-focused environment where you'll have opportunities to build meaningful relationships with customers while helping them achieve their financial goals.
What You'll Do:
Deliver exceptional customer service by building meaningful relationships and proactively offering products, services, and digital solutions that help customers succeed financially.
Assist customers with account openings, service requests, and credit applications in a professional, helpful manner.
Work closely with your team and managers to navigate policies and procedures while exercising good judgment.
Continuously grow your knowledge of financial products and services, helping customers find the best options for their needs.
Foster strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns.
Refer customers to specialized bankers or partners when necessary to address more complex financial needs.
As this is a SAFE position, you will be expected to comply with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations.
What We're Looking For:
At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, through work, training, military service, or education.
A customer-centric mindset with the ability to handle complex transactions across multiple systems.
Experience with outreach and proactive communication, either via phone or email, to engage with customers.
A passion for educating customers on technology and helping them discover the benefits of mobile banking options.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet customer needs.
A natural ability to build and nurture lasting customer relationships.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
The ability to identify potential risks, such as fraud, and take appropriate action to protect customers and the business.
A commitment to professionalism and integrity when interacting with both customers and team members.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred):
Previous experience in fostering and developing strong customer relationships.
Military experience, especially in roles related to personnel management, benefits, or operations, is a plus.
Job Expectations:
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays.
Maintain a cash drawer and complete service-related tasks as needed.
Completion of registration within the first days of employment and adherence to licensing and regulatory standards.
Successful candidates will meet ongoing regulatory requirements, including a background check and financial responsibility assessment.
