Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Performance Tester with over 10 years of expertise in performance testing and optimization. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of performance testing tools, system benchmarking, and CI/CD pipeline configuration, along with strong technical skills to identify and resolve performance issues. This role involves close collaboration with systems and application development teams to ensure optimal application performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performance Workloads & Benchmarking: Develop, run, and analyze comprehensive performance workloads and system benchmarks for each release using tools such as JMeter and Gatling.
• Collaboration for Nonfunctional Testing: Work with systems and application developers to gather nonfunctional testing requirements, provide performance fixes, and implement proactive improvements.
• Performance Optimization: Devise, prototype, and assess performance and scalability improvements, including troubleshooting performance testing scripts.
• Capacity Planning: Conduct benchmarking, analysis, and modeling to support system capacity planning and scalability.
• CI/CD Integration: Configure performance testing within the CI/CD pipeline and manage troubleshooting as needed.
• Root Cause Analysis with Datadog: Utilize Datadog APM tools to conduct in-depth root cause analysis of performance issues, ensuring fast resolution and performance optimization.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years in performance testing, with extensive experience in JMeter and Gatling.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in performance testing configuration, troubleshooting scripts, and working with CI/CD pipelines.
• APM Tool Expertise: Strong knowledge of Datadog for root cause analysis and performance monitoring.
• Skills: Benchmarking, system analysis, CI/CD, Datadog APM, capacity planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
