Job Responsibilities: + Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for company employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments. + Verify employee timecard data and reconcile discrepancies. + Maintain organized and accurate payroll records for auditing and compliance purposes. + Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and escalate issues when necessary. + Process employee changes, such as tax exemptions, direct deposits, and pay rate changes. + Collaborate with the accounting and HR teams to ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Requirements + High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certification in accounting or finance is a plus. + Entry-level experience in payroll, accounting, or a related field preferred, but not required. + Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel is a strong advantage. + Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion. + Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
