needs, will travel to provide support to other Dept. of Medicine Faculty Practice sites (1180 Morris Park, Scarsdale and Derm Center)
This position is 9am-5:30 Monday- Friday - does this require early or late hours ?
Responsibilities (includes but not limited to)
Take and record patient’s height, weight, health history and vital signs including blood pressure, urinalysis and EKGs.
Order and maintain supplies to par level for practice ensure exam rooms are appropriately stocked.
Perform all job responsibilities of front end reception staff, including check-in and check-out and pre-authorizations as appropriate and as workload requires.
Provide patient education regarding medical condition
Escort patients to/from reception area exam/procedure rooms and nursing station.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
One year of work experience - is this PCT experience or in a hospital setting? or any work experience
Medical Assistant or Patient Care Certification required.
Knowledge of EPIC
