Job Summary: The Part Time Retail Sales Associate delivers world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry. The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. He or she must be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time. *** All candidates must be available to work all scheduled days the center is open. *** Compensation & Benefits: The UPS Store #6502 offers competitive pay ranging from $12 to $15 per hour, commensurate with experience. Responsibilities:

• Assist customers by providing general information on products and services at The UPS Store #6502.
• Anticipate customer needs and suggest appropriate solutions.
• Drive store sales through up selling and suggestive selling techniques.
• Ensure shelves are accurately stocked.
• Place customer pickups orders and follow through from beginning of order to completion.
• Maintain the store according to The UPS Store standards.
• Maintain accurate store records, including customer sales and transactions.
• Address customer complaints and concerns in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of retail sales policies and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work weekends or other shifts as needed
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40+ pounds
