Part Time Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Location: Princeton, NJ (On site).
Job Schedule:  2-3 Days per week; dayshift.
Job Type:  Part Time, W-2.

Job Description :

VitalCheck Wellness is looking for a  Registered Nurse (RN) for an outpatient wellness clinic located in  Princeton, NJ .  The RN will work with support from a Medical Assistant to support a Physician and Nurse Practitioner in a corporate health center while managing clinic operations and workflow policies and procedures. The nurse will work in a primary care, preventive care, and urgent care capacity. This role is ideal for someone who loves to implement new ideas while providing high quality patient care and patient education.

Responsibilities:  

• Support Physician and Nurse Practitioner with patient care. 
• Initial point of contact for patients, completing assessment and vital signs. 
• Specimen collections including phlebotomy.
• Wound care and vaccine administration.
• Follow-up care coordination. 
• Maintenance of emergency equipment. 
• Oversee daily operations of the clinic, including but not limited to: patient care delivery, inventory management, scheduling, policy & procedure implementation & management, and patient engagement (through educational content and events). 

Requirements:

• Clean active RN license in NJ.
• Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 5-7 years nursing work experience in primary care setting.
• Phlebotomy experience is required.
• Highly organized; skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient in technology including Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Must be a self-starter who is confident in making recommendations on improving processes while complying with regulatory standards, rules and laws. 
• Customer service-oriented and have great bedside manner. 
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. 
• Comfortable working independently or with little to no supervision. 
• Ability to adapt to change. 
• Able to reliably commute to Princeton, NJ. 

Must be able to pass a background check and credit report review.
