Job Description

We are seeking a part-time employment attorney to join our firm, working 15 to 20 hours per week. This role is fully remote, with flexible hours, offering an excellent opportunity for an attorney who may have reduced their practice due to family commitments or other reasons, but still wants to stay engaged with the legal field. The role involves reviewing discovery, drafting legal documents, and working on individual cases without any litigation pressure or court deadlines. Our firm is ahead of schedule with case management, so the attorney will not feel the stress of impending deadlines. Responsibilities:

• Review discovery materials and provide legal analysis.
• Draft legal pleadings, motions, and other documents.
• Collaborate with the legal team on case management.
• Maintain updated case records in our task management system.
• Provide legal research and writing support where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in case handling.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• At least 5 years of employment law experience is preferred, though candidates with other relevant legal experience will be considered.
• Excellent legal writing, analysis, and research skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• Comfort with technology and remote collaboration tools.
• Perfect for an attorney who is scaling back their practice but wants to stay sharp.
