Tired of sitting at home unsure what to jump into next? Our client, a rising non-for-profit organization in the Chicagoland area, is looking to add a Part-time Controller to their team. This non-profit emphasizes community education to raise awareness about domestic violence's impact on individuals, families, and the community, highlighting the importance of victim rights. 

The Part-time Controller will take ownership of core accounting and reporting processes and ensure financial duties are done effectively, accurately and timely. The ideal candidate is someone who brings a positive attitude and strong business acumen to effectively deal with new tasks and challenges in a fast-paced environment. 

Part-time Controller Responsibilities: 

• Ensures that payables invoices are processed on a timely basis  

• Determines level of plant location interaction on payables management 

• Oversees outside agency payment communications, processing and reporting standards 

• Maintains records of any electronic payments, via outside agency or internally generated 

• Maintains organization of historical invoices processed 

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities as well as organizational skills, with an ability to multitask 

• Accounting projects as assigned 

Part-time Controller Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or another business-related field required 

• 5+ years of related experience  

• CPA preferred 

• Experience with NetSuite and SAP Concur accounting software preferred
