Job Description:
The Client is, a small firm specializing in workers' compensation, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our team full-time. Our office is located in the Brewery District, just outside of downtown Columbus, OH. We represent injured workers and are committed to providing top-notch legal support.

Responsibilities:

• Type correspondence based on attorney dictation.
• Communicate with clients, doctors, claims representatives, and attorneys via telephone and in-person.
• File appeals, motions, records requests, and other legal documents.
• Manage the attorney's calendar and schedule.
• Assist attorneys with day-to-day tasks such as ordering supplies and depositing checks.
• Review and organize medical records.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in workers' compensation or a related legal field is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in typing and office software.
• Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
