COMPANY INFORMATION:

Recycletek is a fast-growing company providing a mobile recycling service and technology in Sunnyvale and Cupertino, California.

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Successfully operate and service customers in Cupertino and Sunnyvale 4-5 days per week. Recycletek will provide full training on how to operate the mobile recycling service, equipment, and software. The role is labor-intensive and requires the individual to be self-motivated, self-managing, and self-taught with support from Recycletek’s executive team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operations - Daily Activities:

• Drive a Ford F-250 truck and recycling trailer to the operating sites in Cupertino and Sunnyvale.
• Set up and close the operating site 3 days per week.
• Transport bottles and cans recycling material to Sunnyvale storage location.
• Customer Service. Process 25-50 customers per day with CRV recycling transactions.
• Deliver recycling material to the processor one day per week on non-operating days.
• Physical Requirements - Lift bags of aluminum and plastic 35-40 pounds, and glass bins 50-90 lbs, from ground level into the truck several times per day on operating days.

Schedule: 32 - 40 hours per week:

• Tuesday: 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm (7 hours).
• Wednesday: 10:00 am - 8:00 pm (10 hours).
• Saturday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm (10 hours).
• Mon, Thu, Fri - Flexible hours (5 hours minimum).
• Sunday: Off.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Ability to communicate clearly through smart phone, text message, and email.
• Customer service oriented.
• Fluent in English (Spanish or Mandarin is a plus).
• Clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from Recycletek Sunnyvale office and storage location.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Work on-site, outside, in variable weather conditions.
• Handling recycling materials. Willingness to get dirty.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE and COMPENSATION:

• 60-day contract at $30/hour.
• Convert to full-time, salary employee for $5,500 - $6,000 per month after the 60-day contract period.
• No H1B Visa sponsorship.

LOCATION:

• Sunnyvale and Cupertino (On-Site).
