Job Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time Nutrition and Wellness Assistant at Emory University in Atlanta, GA!  This position will work with our Sr. Wellness Coordinator in reviewing recipes and menus as well as supporting our allergen program. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement Bon Appetit food philosophy and wellness programs under the supervision of the Dietitian
• Support account in meeting nutrition related regulatory requirements including federal menu labeling laws, local and state requirements
• Serves as supporting nutrition resource for the account including maintaining and growing relationships with internal team
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of nutrition topics related to food service, culinary & nutrition trends, wellness technology, college student health and
• wellness
• Leads the food allergy program to include staff training and corrective action reporting
• Provide nutrition /wellness education and training for associates, clients, and customers
• Participate in menu & recipe development and analysis

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related Science, required
• Prior foodservice experience highly preferred
• Comfortable with public speaking and ability to deliver information in a group setting required
• ServSafe certification preferred
• Possess the necessary skills to optimally use Microsoft office applications and nutrient analysis programming
