The City of Eatonton is accepting applications from interested individuals to fill three expiring terms on the Eatonton Downtown Development Authority. To be eligible for appointment, a person shall be:
Note: One member of the Authority may reside outside the county (but within the State of Georgia) provided they own or operate a business in the downtown development area.
Members of the Eatonton Downtown Development Authority should have or represent a party that has an economic interest in downtown Eatonton and should be dedicated, fair minded, not self-serving, and willing to devote the time necessary for the position. Successful candidates must attend state mandated training within the first twelve months of appointment.
Applications may be accessed and printed via our website, www.eatontonga.us, or picked up at City Hall, located at 201 North Jefferson Avenue.
