Annual Compensation Range: $50,000-$57,000 Biocoat is committed to providing the best in developing, manufacturing, and applying coatings on medical devices. We are looking for a
Medical Device Coating Technician to take our manufactured coating and apply it to medical devices. This associate would be required to follow all safety guidelines to aid in improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities: - Prepare medical devices for coating per customer and quality guidelines
- Measurement conversions required to complete part of this task
- Arrange devices in the machine, monitor device movements throughout the machine process, unload devices and visually inspect for defects
- Create labels and package the final product for shipment
- Assist in resolving equipment issues alongside your team
- Write coating procedures and/or other work instructions
- Record materials used and collect data during the coating process
Skills & Requirements: - High school diploma required
- 1-2 years’ experience preferred in a manufacturing, process development or production environment
- Ability to work Monday-Thursday, 7:15am-4:00pm, Friday 7:15am-2:00pm
- Critical Skills: ability to successfully mix materials, read and understand product specifications and operating procedures for various manufacturing machines
- Ability to measure and inspect products/materials and clearly document all activities
- Capable to conduct performance testing on coated devices
- Ability to prioritize and efficiently complete tasks with consistency and accuracy, often under pressure and/or short deadlines
- Detail oriented, highly organized, capable of completing high quality work
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with co-workers as well as work independently
- Computer literacy with Microsoft package, spreadsheet, and e-mail software
- Strong oral and written communications skills
