Job Description

This position involves performing administrative and clinical duties under provider supervision in a healthcare setting.

• Administrative tasks include scheduling appointments and managing medical records.
• Clinical responsibilities encompass taking vital signs, recording medical histories, preparing patients for exams, and drawing blood.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a formal MA training program with pharmacology, anatomy/physiology, medication basics, and a clinical externship.
• No prior experience is necessary, but healthcare or clinic experience is preferred.
• Must have excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and with a team, and proficient computer skills.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or obtained within 90 days is required.
• Certification from approved programs such as CMA/AAMA, RMA/AMT, CCMA/NHA, NRCMA/NAHP, NCMA/NCCT, or RMA/AAMP is required.
