POSITION GOAL

ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program.
• Seven (7) years of recent experience and one of the following:
• a. Satisfactory completion of The State of Florida Mason Apprenticeship Program (Credit is granted for time served as an apprentice.

OR

• b. Broward County Journeyman Certificate of Competency in Masonry.

OR

• c. Must pass tests appropriate to certify and demonstrate competency in the job.
• Computer skills as required for the position.
• Must provide own hand tools. Demonstrated knowledge of all phases of masonry, standard practices, methods and safety practices of the trade.
• Demonstrated knowledge of concrete slabs, etc. with adjustments for climate and humidity.
• Must have a proper Florida commercial driver's license with endorsements compatible with the assigned duties of The School Board of Broward County, Florida.
• This position will include pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.

Hourly Rate: $23.47 - $28.17 per hour

NOTE: New Hires will be hired at the Minimum of the assigned Salary Range
