Marketing Student Internship - Digital Media Intern – Austin, TX

The Digital Media Intern will support the Digital Media Specialist in various facets of the MLC CAD Systems Marketing operation. The role will start as an Intern, with the opportunity to convert into a long-term role for the right candidate . 
 
Mission:
To manage social growth and engagement, while also supporting the execution of various digital and creative tasks.

Outcomes :

1. Social Media
   • Support the creation/production of long form content
   • Break long form content down into micro content
   • Manage posting schedule across all channels
   • Manage day-to-day engagement across all channels
   • Identify high impact content opportunities based on engagement
   • Design YouTube thumbnails for MLC CAD Systems’ channel
   • Create graphics for social media posting
     
      
2.   Paid Media Advertising

• Support the creation / production of paid media ads

1. Specialization/s - Will have capability and/or passion in the following areas:
   • Graphic Design
   • Video Production
   • Copywriting
   • Social Media
   • Analytics & Research
   • Media Buying (other than PPC)

Experience :

1. Working toward a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising or related field.
2. Experience creating social media content across channels is a plus.
3. Experience with Project Management software such as Asana, Monday, Base Camp, is a plus.
4. Experience with graphic design software such as Canva is a plus.
5. Experience with Influencer and Affiliate marketing is a plus.

Compensation :
$20/hour. Minimum of 15 hours/week; maximum of 25 hours/week.
