We’re looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team and contribute to our growth. This is more than just an internship—it’s an opportunity to grow with us, gain hands-on experience, and become a valued member of our team.

Position Overview:
As a Marketing Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting the franchise’s marketing initiatives. Working closely with the Lawn Doctor corporate team, franchise owners, office staff, and field technicians, you’ll help implement strategies to drive business growth. This is a dynamic role that spans digital, print, social media, and grassroots marketing efforts, requiring creativity, organization, and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the corporate team and local franchise owners to execute marketing strategies.
  • Help identify and target key neighborhoods and submarkets within our territories.
  • Assist in developing and implementing multi-tiered marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media.
  • Participate in grassroots efforts such as:
    • Hanging door hangers in target neighborhoods.
    • Setting up roadside signs in visible locations.
    • Dressing in the Lawn Doctor mascot suit for “park and wave” activities.
  • Create, collect, and manage social media content for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Update and maintain the franchise’s Google Business Profile page.
  • Assist in organizing and participating in local events and video shoots.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights for optimization.
  • Support website updates and digital marketing platform enhancements.
  • Contribute to research and outreach efforts to explore new marketing opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a two- or four-year college or university program.
  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • Digitally savvy, with experience using multiple social media platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint and Excel preferred).
  • Availability to attend occasional events, including Saturdays.
  • Experience working with children and young adults with disabilities is a plus.

Perks of the Role:

  • Learn from Lawn Doctor’s corporate team with over 60 years of success.
  • Gain insights from seasoned franchise owners with extensive business and industry expertise.
  • Collaborate with a highly skilled office and field team, as well as marketing professionals from other franchises nationwide.
  • Make a tangible impact on the franchise’s growth while building real-world marketing skills.

Work Location:
This role is primarily remote, with opportunities to meet in the local office and engage in field activities across Easley, Greenville, Mauldin, Simpsonville, and Fountain Inn.
