Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Full Time dedicated and hardworking Laborer to assist with grounds maintenance and general labor tasks at Springfield Veterans Cemetery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cemetery grounds, ensuring a clean, respectful, and well-kept environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, and debris removal.
• Assist with headstone alignment and other cemetery upkeep duties.
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures while performing all tasks.
• Support additional labor-related tasks as assigned by management .

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects as needed.
• Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and respect for the cemetery's purpose and environment.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Physical labor, including lifting, bending, and operating equipment.
